Some things we can control about our health and others we can't. So let's talk about what we can... and take note of NDIS boundaries at the same time.
There's a long list of allied health therapists, plus complimentary therapy: from exercise physio to art therapy. Many are NDIS fundable, some are definitely not and others might be. Being holistic is the key.
Tell us your situation and we'll explore it, then work out what's possible.
Yes, NDIS isn't about medical stuff. But there is an overlap. Think about podiatry, usually it isn't fundable. If you need a podiatrist due to your diagnosed condition, then it is justifiable. Keep in mind, NDIA may knock it back.
Supplements or medications are not fundable, but there are a few that fit in the NDIS box - for example, liquid meal supplements.
Personal trainer, assisted gym sessions, boot camps, targeted "therapeutic" classes, online fitness (free: Nike Training Club, Yoga with Adriene; subscription: Future, functional training Street Parking, strength JuggernautAl, Peaches Pilates.)
All of these are in the scope of NDIS so let's put it on your list.
